1977 mixtape cover

Ronnie Van Zant, along with two other members of Lynyrd Skynyrd, died in a plane crash in October of 1977. That's who I dressed up as at a recent 1977 themed costume party. Had you been at the party, that aforementioned slice of music trivia would have helped you in the quiz I hosted. Perhaps you would have even won a CD copy of this mix.

Generously, I allowed myself to include tunes that were either recorded, released or charted during 1977. From the tracklisting you might be able to tell that I didn't take this mix project as seriously as usual -- which is way too serious by quite a large measure. The mixing was done on GarageBand and is a barely adequate effort. However, both times I played it at the party, it served its purpose splendidly.
