1977 Mix

Ronnie Van Zant, along with two other members of Lynyrd Skynyrd, died in a plane crash in October of 1977, and that's whom I dressed up as at a recent 1977 themed costume party. Had you been there, that slice of music trivia would have helped you in the 1977 themed quiz I hosted and perhaps you would have won a copy of this mixtape, which I threw together as a prize.
Liberally, I allowed myself to include tunes that were either recorded, released or charted during 1977. From the tracklisting you might be able to tell that I didn't take this mixtape as seriously as I usually take my mixtapes, which admittedly is way too seriously by quite a large measure. The mixing was done on GarageBand and is a barely adequate effort but both times I played it at the party it served its purpose splendidly.
