Eddie Platt - Tequila
Eddie Platt - Popcorn
The last time saxman Eddie Platt graced these pages was when DJ Fritz from
Buzzsaw Joint dropped by to give us a shot of
Vodka. In his post, he mentioned Tequila, the first of today's selections. It was Platt's biggest record, charting in 1958. The man was quick off the mark, that's the same year The Champs' slamming original came out and topped both the pop and R&B charts. Also included is Popcorn, the equally shakable flipside, to really get you swinging your bits.
